I know what it is like to want to have a baby but to worry about how my body will look and feel during and after. My name is Grace and I am a mother. Leading up to my pregnancy, I wanted to get into the leanest and fittest shape of my life. I was already fit and lean but wanted to push it as far as I could comfortably go. Learn more about me here.
Part of my reason was just to what I could do, but also, I understood that I would lose my leanness and some of my fitness once I was pregnant. I also knew I would want to keep working out during pregnancy to minimize the loss. At the same time, getting as fit as possible before would help minimize the loss of fitness that occurred during pregnancy. That is how this pre-pregnancy plan came to be. Based on our experience before, during, and after my pregnancy, Nathan and I wanted to create a plan for other ladies such as you to follow. That said, every woman and every pregnancy are different, so the Pre-pregnancy, Pregnancy, and Post-pregnancy All plans are all custom made.
What you get
The pre-pregnancy plan includes:
A plan customized to you based on what your goals are. This may include cardio, strength work, mobility, etc. and the plan can be home-based, gym-based, or made for women who travel regularly. Your situation helps determine the plan we make for you.
Unlimited support from me via messages. I will reach out to you at least once a week, though often more frequently, and you can contact me at any time to ask questions, voice concerns, or just talk about some of the anxieties you face with working out, planning for pregnancy, etc. I am here to help.
Form video review-we analyze video of your exercise form and provide feedback; we schedule these reviews every two weeks but will complete more or less frequently as needed
The program comes with a nutritional portion that includes what you need to be successful. The nutrition part is flexible in that we can create a detailed meal plan for you that includes all foods, times, etc. or provide you with specific calorie targets, specific macros targets, meal timing suggestions, food suggestions, etc.
To help assess progress, tracking tools for nutrition, exercise, body stats, and more are included. Easy to read charts allow you to see each exercise entry, body stat entry, etc. and see how your numbers trend over time.
Daily, weekly, and monthly review of your program and progress-each day, week, and month we'll review your workouts and make adjustments as needed. We will also review your body stats, nutritional strategy, etc. and adjust as needed based on how well you are progressing.
Why should you work with me?
I understand where you have been. I know what it is like to want to be fit, but also what it is like to mentally and physically prepare for pregnancy. While planning to get pregnant, I reached the fittest point of my life through smart training and nutrition practices, which also allowed me to reach the leanest point of my life. I can help you do the same. All I ask is that you give me at least three months prior to trying to conceive and you bring the motivation.
Why three months prior to conceiving? You need time to make progress. If we wait until you are already trying, you may get pregnant in the middle of the plan, at which time we would need to make changes. The logic behind this is some women get pregnant almost immediately. For me, it only took about a month.
