How we deal with setbacks

Okay, so this one is going to be short and to the point. We deal with setbacks in the best way we can—we adjust and keep moving forward. Sometimes we don't reach our goals, so we look at what went right, what went wrong, and adjust as needed, if possible. Sometimes, an adjustment is not necessary, we just need more time, so we keep pushing forward. Now and then, we experience pains, strains, and injuries. At these times, we don't throw in the towel, but instead look at what caused the injury and adjust if needed. Often a safety adjustment (i.e. a change to the thing that caused the injury) is not needed because the injury was an accident and/or may not have been the result of a workout. For example, Nathan aggravated his wrist due to horseplay, not workouts. However, to continue working out, an intensity or exercise change may be required. Setbacks occur—it's how we deal with them that matters. You can't let the setbacks hold you back; you have to keep moving forward. So do we. Stay motivated and reach your goals.
